Hope Breaks Boundaries \\ Call for Artists

International Group Exhibition | October 2025 Bifnocho, Tel Aviv

What is hope?
Is it a hidden hand reaching out in difficult times?
An inner spark that helps us move forward, even when the way is unclear?
The belief that things can change, even when we can't control them?
A practical path to approach the future?

In mental health, hope is a vital part of healing — a force that goes beyond diagnosis or despair, that helps us imagine a future, even when it’s hard to picture one.

Sometimes, hope is held by someone else — a therapist, a loved one — and sometimes, it’s art that holds the hope:
a sound, a shape, a gesture, a story.
Art keeps the possibility of life close,
until we’re ready to return to it,
to remember who we’ve been, what we’ve lived through,
and the strength we carry now.

We invite local and international artists to participate in the exhibition “Hope Breaks Boundaries” – a special project marking World Mental Health Day, in collaboration with artist and initiator Daniel Mano-Bella, the “Nefashot” initiative, and the Bifnocho space.
Curator: Assia Weissberg.

Hope – as creative energy, as human connection, as a space of freedom – stands at the heart of this exhibition. We seek works that tell personal, local, or universal stories, and engage with hope as a connecting, reminding, and propelling force.

Submissions are welcome from all art disciplines:
painting, sculpture, photography, installation, poetry, video, textile, sound, digital media, and more. We aim to highlight diverse voices, identities, and backgrounds.
